All are Welcome to a Banburyshire Evening A Fund-raising Evening of Stories and Songs In aid of The Friends of the Horton and Sibford Village Hall On Saturday 12th April 2014 At Sibford Village Hall From 19:30 to 22:30 Admission £5 This is the second event in 2014, for Jules Procter, "The Banburyshire Storyteller" to work together with community groups to produce a "Banburyshire Evening" as a collaborative fund-raising mechanism. The admission fee will be split equally between The Friends of the Horton, and Sibford Village Hall. The family-friendly evening will be a mix of Banburyshire tales and songs performed by Jules. |
All are Welcome to a Banburyshire Evening A Fund-raising Evening of Stories and Songs In aid of The Friends of the Horton and Drayton Village Hall On Saturday 15th March 2014 At Drayton Village Hall, Banbury From 19:30 to 22:30 Admission £5 This is the first event in 2014, for Jules Procter, "The Banburyshire Storyteller" to work together with community groups to produce a "Banburyshire Evening" as a collaborative fund-raising mechanism. The admission fee will be split equally between The Friends of the Horton, and Drayton Village Hall. The family-friendly event will be a mix of Banburyshire tales and songs performed by Jules. Often humorous, frequently bizarre and sometimes bewildering! A total of £90 was raised from the evening. Thanks to all who made it such a success! |
The Banburyshire Tea Party at the 2013 Banbury Folk Festival was the first fund-raiser put on as a joint venture by Banburyshire Media, in support of good causes. The festival received an afternoons entertainment at no cost, the musicians received payment from ticket sales and The Friends of The Horton received £70 from sales of cakes and savouries. |
